The hard work is done, set these up and just listen. I am just the second owner of this great set of Tympani 1-D's in deluxe off-white fabric with attractive copper nameplate, copy of manual
and a full set of feet. These are about as good as Tympani 1-D's get. Sonically better than new with updated diaphragms and wiring.
They were refurbished once by the original owner. then when he got impatient during the break-in period
he bought 1.6QR's. I bought them in 1999 and in 2001 I sent two mid/bass panels in to Magnepan for some cat damage, the drivers were repaired
but there are some fabric pulls on the back (only on the back) of one panel, I decided I wanted to keep the fabric the
same since I liked it and it was no longer available. Cat was declawed and we all lived happily. So celebrate your single status with the ultimate speaker for the quirkyalone or alternately show your friends how fantastic
your relationship is as you demonstrate your sonic room dividers. But do check them out and buy then to help single-me toward
my 20.1's. Comes with original serial numbered boxes, a full set of feet and copy of manual available for pickup in or
around the Indianapolis, Indiana area.
Serial numbers are 444571/444572 A note about the pictures, the pics of the set were taken right after the one set on the left had been repaired at
Magnepan, they had no nametags before they went in and the factory included a set on return, I left the tag off of
the repaired speaker to identify it, copper nametags are now on both speakers.
