This is a four tube (sovtek 6922) line level preamp in great condition inside and out. The cover has been repainted black to cover up some previous scratches and looks nice. For you that plan on using a phono preamp connected to it. It has a mono switch and a variable gain switch for ea. channel (8, 16, and 24db) so you can get the quietest operation with any cartridge be it MM or MC. The coupling caps have been upgraded to MIT Multicaps. It will come with the allen wrench and extra screws and original manual. You wont be disappointed
