Spectral are one of the few audio companies that from day one have always made truly high end products and no mater what their age they represent a solid investment for anyone who is serious about their music.
I am the son of the original and proud owner. The amp is fifteen plus years old, it shows, at fifteen plus years nothing is going to look new unless it has been put in a glass case only to be looked at, works perfect though.
This is a full Dual Mono amplifier. It has a XLR (balanced) input as well as single-ended (RCA) phono jacks. Comes with a detachable IEC power cord, can accept 240V, 220v, 120v and 100 volts. A true workhorse. Below is some information from Spectral's web site.
"The DMA-100 was the first, direct coupled, high speed, DC-to-megahertz amplifier for audio and the first high speed medium band (up to low radio frequency) amplifier for laboratory use.
The first full FET technology power amplifier, utilizing J-FETs as well as power MOSFETs. The DMA-100 was a true 100 watt amplifier, capable of delivering 100 watts per channel into any load.
The first solid state amplifier with no capacitors in the signal path."
