For sale is a rare Fosgate Research model 3601 Directional processor also called the 360º Space Matrix with Dolby Surround. I believe this is meant more for audio than for video, but not sure about that. It does have an internal amplifier to connect surround speakers. This sounds really good!
I guess this is a precursor to the famous Fosgate Research model 101A Tate from what I am seeing on the Internet while researching this neat processor. Do not confuse Fosgate Research with Rockford Fosgate stereo gear, I do not believe they have anything in common except for the Fosgate name. (Jim Fosgate is considered a genius in the processor world!)
This processor is in excellent working and cosmetic condition! The build quality is exceptional! The wired remote is made of brushed anodized aluminum as is the unit itself. The wired remote uses a DIN connector to connect to the main unit. The LED’s in the remote all work as they should, as do the slider controls. The fact the remote is present is amazing, as they are almost always lost. Truly a collector’s piece! Get it now while you can, as they hardly ever show up on eBay!
