JSE Infinite Slope, ".6" Model. "JSE" stands for John Sollecito Engineering. Do the requisite "google" search if you're not already familiar with them and make sure you look in the audio and loudspeaker-related discussion forums as well; these are rare and some would say legendary speakers.Though I have these listed under the "Stand Mounted" speaker category, I consider them on the larger side of this category with dimensions of 23" (H) x 11" (W) x 12-3/8" (D). They feature exceptionally high-quality components including Scanspeak 1" soft-dome tweeters and 8” SEAS woofers, and high-quality crossover parts. Please note that I am also including an extra original OEM Scanspeak tweeter that is spec'd for the JSE .6, however one of the wiring terminals needs repair. Yes, you might personally care to upgrade the stock speaker binding posts, which just might make these exceptionally performing speakers that much better, but otherwise the original stock posts are perfectly serviceable. These are very very low coloration speakers and simply let the music/signal pass through them to the listener. John Sollecito, the original engineer and designer of the speaker, has attributed this to butt jointed assembly construction of the cabinet instead of the more common folding techniques used in modern cabinet manufacture. These have been favorably compared and regarded by some as "the poor man's" Harbeths. I believe they originally retailed for $1,000 and have little doubt that if these speakers were manufactured today they would list somewhere in $2,500-$3,500 range. There is some MINOR wear and light hairline markings/scuffing on the tops which is hardly noticeable (unless you plan to stand over and stare at them while listening) and obviously in no way detracts from their performance. All corners and edges are exceptional/perfect condition and otherwise with absolutely NO performance issues whatsoever. Please refer to the pics. I have the original grill cloths and they look great either way (on of off).
