I bought the SP-25 as a NOS unit several years ago. There are a couple of minor marks from use, but it's in excellent condition, and performs flawlessly. Speed is positively rock steady. The plinth is solid oak exterior with pine internal supports. Quite heavy.
Buyer pays actual shipping charges. If you're close to Oskaloosa, Iowa & want to pick it up & save on shipping, that's cool too.
I'm only selling because I'm currently not using it. (I own 5 turntables, and I have two other SP-25s.) It's just sitting around & I can't justify keeping it.)
PLEASE READ: Two different people so far have told me they wanted the turntable & arm. I removed the arm, boxed everything up and gotten shipping info only to have them back out after cellphone calls that I had to pay for, e-mails back & forth, dismantling the turntable, boxing everything up & printing shipping labels. If you have questions, etc., that's great. I'm more than happy to oblige. But getting stuff ready to go for people only to have them change their mind at the last second is getting tedious. Please be sure you actually want it before you have me jump through the hoops.
