Beautiful pair of old stock RCA 6SN7GT. 1954 date codes. This is the early clear glass 6SN7GT, identical in construction and sound to the grey glass VT-231 of a few years before at bargain price. Fully tested on a calibrated Hickok 539C tester for gm, gas and shorts as well as listening tested for excessive noise and best sound in a super high-end custom 6SN7 preamp. These tubes came from the recently acquired collection of a former aeronautical lab of which contained dozens of 6SN7's and other preamp level tubes in unused or slightly used condition.
