Mint pair of Focus 140 bookshelf monitors purchased new summer of 2011 from authorized local dealer. Serial numbers 525375 and -76. These were used in a 2 channel set up with no kids or smoke around. They work great with any Dynaudio stands (24 to 26 in. tall) such as those for sale elsewhere on the Trader; those stands are now sold, however. Provide great sense of soundstage that only the best of monitors are known for. As compared to the Excite model, much better realism and bass response. Bass is real and tight down to 40 Hz. Cherry veneer is perfect without any hole marks from the stand spikes. The silk tweeter domes are in perfect shape; being soft and above the front baffle surface they are prone to being damaged.
