These are excellent 300B SET amps made in the U.S.A. by Gordon Rankin on production date 08/03/06. The wood cases are black walnut, refinished by Jim Salk.My asking price is low because of a cosmetic imperfection in the left monoblock: The input transformer on the left monoblock leans slightly from the perpendicular as a result of shipping damage sustained at the time of purchase. The lean isn't noticeable unless you look for it, and it DOES NOT affect performance. Gordon Rankin told me to leave it alone, because it works fine, and straightening it would mean removing the end bells, and re-potting the transformer. The price is $3,000 with brand new Electro Harmonix goldpin 6C45PI drivers. Also, I'll provide a spare EH goldpin driver. Please note that power tubes and rectifiers are not included. You will not find another pair of Cardinal X2 monoblocks at this price any time soon, if ever. Will provide more photos upon request.
