Old school passive "surround sound" decoder (ambiance recovery unit they where called too IIRC)... I have a Dynaco QD-1 Series II unit - works just like the old Dynaco QD-1 Quadadapter!. Cheap! $20 plus ship. Hooks up to the output of your amp to feed a L-R type single wit a set of smaller passive speakers (you supply).
