Amperex 7316 tubes/valves for sale. The Philips type and manufacturing origin/date codes are:- Outstanding date- and type-matched pair with excellent silkscreen and treble clef marking! Both Ct1 type code with right triangle 9E Heerlen, Holland manufacturing/date codes; very close test results at 85/90:56 and 90/90:56 - $175 for the pair SOLD!

This last tube is Westinghouse-branded and in as-new cosmetic condition. With crystal-clear glass, crisp silkscreening, clearly legible type and date/origin codes, I believe it to be unused. But, while the test numbers are healthy, the section match is not so close and one section is a bit noisy when tested/auditioned in-circuit in the linestage of my Conrad-Johnson PV-12A preamplifier. This may clear up with some use, or maybe not. The right triangle code indicates Heerlen, Holland manufacture, which is the only factory that produced the 7316. Ctx is the Philips type code for the 7316, where x is a number between 0 and 5. The Ct0 tube was the first 7316 type issued by Philips, and the Ct5 type was the last. All of these tubes have been tested on my Dan Nelson-serviced and calibrated TV7-D/U. Thanks, - SJ
