For sale is a beautiful pair of Ebony Omega Superhemp Alnico loudspeakers. These were originally Superhemps, but in May of 2008, Louis upgraded them to the Alnico drivers. These speakers use a single 8" hemp cone Alnico driver that was custom made for Omega by A Broun Sound in California. They are 92db at 8 ohms and can be driven by as little as 2 watts. I used them with an 8 watt 300B SET amp, a 14 watt EL84 amp and a 10 watt 845 amp. The speakers sound fabulous on all of them. These are really wonderful speakers for the money. Local pick up would save $100 on shipping! I have lowered the price on these speakers significantly. This is the last round up here on AA. I really need to sell them due to space constraints, but I will keep them rather than giving them away. I am open to good offers, but I will not respond to low-balls. I have the original packaging and the foam port balls and grill covers have never been out of the packing, so they are essentially brand new. The speakers have been well cared for and look it and only have light marks from use and some marks on the bottom from the stands.
