High Power 3 channel amp (200x3 8ohm, 250x3 4ohm). Used to sacd surround and mostly 2 channel. Modified boards done by McIntosh technician. Tranny and caps original. All done purely for sound. Never had mechanical failure. Silver fuses, emi/rfi shielding and damping added to whole chassis. Painted top to better match face-plate. New spike/ball bearing footer modification. Old feet replaced with new stainless steel ball bearing cup footer or spike option. Completely decoupled from chassis by neoprene o rings on both sides. Chassis virtually immune from outside interference. Super quiet with expected sonic improvements. Probably as much in modifications as cost of amp when new. Only selling to scale back to 2 channel only. Used with 4 ohm audio physics, focal, and martin logan speakers. Will deliver all the power needed in my room 19x24. Large scale musical swings with ease. Large soundstage and unlimited clarity. I have used big amps from levinson, classe, bryston and will put this right there with them in every capacity now with all the modifications and high end cables.
