I purchased this amplifier from PartsConnexion up in Canada, the old Sonic Frontiers Company where they thoroughly went through this amp and verified that all the parts were up to spec including the power supply capacitors. Here is a direct quote from Chris Johnson: “BTW....we checked the caps on our SENCORE LC103 cap analyzer...they are in great shape. Value is spot on....ESL and ESR are fine. The amp wasn't heavily used...and was out in the open...so, no ventilation/heat issues”.I made the move to tubes so this is for sale. I was delighted with the sound. Typical ARC resolution with deep tight bass. Midrange that floats and highs that sound limitless. Very three dimensional as well. It is Very underrated. It’s rated at 120 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 240 watts per channel into 4 ohms. Lots of current, too. The condition is superb. No flaws that I can see. No dings or scratches. I don’t have the original box but I have a box and packing that’s as good or better as the ARC’s. I will include some shorting RCAs if you’re planning on using the single ended inputs which go on the “Inverted” RCAs. This is the MK.I model. Price is firm plus actual FedEx shipping costs.
