The purge from a recent move to “Independent Sr. Living” continues with the sale of my Ayre V5xe balanced stereo amplifier. I purchased the amp as a trade from Canadian dealer Sonor Filtronique in 2015 and it has operated flawlessly since. A call to Ayre after the purchase revealed that there were no updates available, so it’s an original production V5xe.If not for the move to a too small room, this was my ‘end of the line’ amplifier. It has a wonderful sweetness not often found in solid state amps while still being powerful enough to drive most any speaker. As the photos show, it is in excellent condition and I was unable to find any marks or indications of wear on any surface of the amplifier. It has never had any functional issues or required service. The OEM packaging is included to ensure safe shipping. Power cord also included if needed. Shipping, Insurance and PayPal fees will be responsibility of purchaser.
