This pair of Denon Mono Power Amplifiers are in good operating condition. The cases have some scratches here and there but nothing terrible. They offer enourmous power resources even at complicated loads. They are designed to put out 180 watts into 8 Ohms into complex speaker loads. They feature balance inputs, which provides the best signal to noise ratio as well as dynamics. They sound smooth and clear even at higher sound volumes.
All circuits are original and unmodified.
This sale is for one pair of these mono block amps. One is a POA 4400. The other is a POA 4400A, which is virtually identical to the 4400, except for a few upgrades and different speaker binding posts.
One would not be able to ascertain any sound difference from these two amplifiers.
Many audiophiles prefer mono amps to stereo amps as all devices are separate and crosstalk, distortion, interference are at a minimum. They are costly to build however as you have to have two of everything. These are well designed and performing amplifiers.
