For your consideration is an exquisite McIntosh MC252 stereo power amplifier. This unit is in absolutely flawless condition and operates perfectly. The MC252 is a truly astounding amplifier, it is rated at 250 watts stereo or 500 watts mono-bridged but actually produces over 325 watts or over 650 watts mono!!! It is a beast! For difficult to drive speakers you just cant beat the 6.6 amps this unit puts out!! No matter what you are going to drive with it it is just a phenomenal amplifier, natural sounding and totally authoritative at any volume level. If you havent had the chance have a look at the website 'amplifier shoot out' where the MC252 is put up against some of the best amplifiers in the world and consistently bests them... great reading! This unit comes from a pet / child / smoke free home and ships with the original owners manual in a custom double walled wooden crate which significantly exceeds the specifications of the factory carton. FYI the last four units that sold all went for between $3200 -$3300 and Audiogon Blue book prices the unit similarly. This is a fair price for a great amplifier. Low Ball offers are unnecessary...... and I'm really in no rush to sell either of my MC252's :-) Thanks for looking!!
