Very nice AU101. Sweet-sounding, good power, good visual condition. Fulfils its reputation as a keeper of the early 1970s. When I got it, the sound was fine at low levels, but distorted at mid-hi power. To update it for longterm use, it got new TP41C power transistors, Nichicon Super Through main filter caps, and various cap replacements where the originals tested weak. Care was taken not to impair its "original sound" or integrity. All switches cleaned with DeOxit. Speaker tabs replaced with 5-way binding posts. Faceplate & knobs all clean, unmarked. Side faux wood is good, only slight corner wear. Top was repainted in satin black. Character: especially rewarding with classical and acoustic, voices, yet does a fine job with recent music too. Powers my JBL L65's easily. Can also be a dedicated headphone amp. Selling reason: I have two Sansui amps, let alone too much lovely hifi gear, so this one is on offer.
