Sonance Sonamp 260 with few miles on it. I purchased it as new - did not come in its original box, but looked the part. I have probably about 50 - 60 hours on it. My intent was to go from biwiring my Paradigm speakers to biamping them, with mixed results. The Sonamp is pretty evenly powered with my Arcam integrated amp, so I always thought that my highs were being overdriven by the Arcam. It was also less than convenient for me to power the whole thing up - a matter of equipment location for me. I suppose that I could have solved that with a few bits of Niles or URC or some such, but that was not the direction I wanted to go. So much for the learning experience. I've gone back to biwiring, and I'm happy with it. I'll lose a little bit of money, but, hey, good experience sometimes costs a few dollars. So, if you are looking for a good Zone amplifier, a power amp for that preamp that you've been sitting on, or you would, as I did, like to experiment inexpensively with biamping, then this could be the amplifier for you. Did nothing bad, comes from a nonsmoking home, just needs another good, and hopefully more permanent, home. $125 and it's yours.
