" Single Ended Glory" 45 tube amplifier.
James output transformers. Thordarson power transformer. AudioCap RT,(RelCap), coupling caps. Vintage Allen Bradley Carbon Comp. resistors. Silver Solder. Solid brass top plate. Solid Bubinga wood base, Western Electric style DC current meter.
Has a couple light scratches on top plate, but overall very pretty. Sounds beautiful with efficient speakers.
Tubes included: (2) Arcturus Blue, 45 ST, power tubes. (2) GE 6SN7GTB, side getter, input tubes. RCA 5V4GT rectifier tube. All tubes test very strong.
Warm and 3 dimensional sounding.
2 watts per channel dictates the use of 94 db speakers in a small room, or 98-100 db speakers in a medium to large room. Horns are ideal. I have heard this amp with Klipsch Lascalas, and it was a great match. I have used biamped Fostex 94 db. monitors, with powered subwoofer below 200 hz., with great results.
Will consider trades also.
