Up for sale, a custom-crafted, hand-built stereo tube amplifier. Pristine like-new condition. 6V6 GT tubes in PP mode make ~12 watts per channel. Sounds great, warm and full, good bass, and quiet for a tube amp. Uses a premade circuit board assembled by myself. Case is steel, a re-purposed Radio Shack PA amplifier. No volume control, hook up to your preamp.- 4 vintage US National Union 6V6 power tubes, all test strong. - 2 good Euro ECF80 input tubes. - Beefy power supply, w/ filter choke in CLCRC filter. 310VDC B+. - Russian K40 paper-in-oil coupling capacitors. - Quiet Diode rectifiers. - NEW toroidal power transformer. - Quality metal film resistors. - Cardas eutectic silver-bearing solder used in signal circuit. - 4 and 8 ohm speaker terminals. Vintage parts. - Red LED and green illuminated VU meter (needle doesn't move, not hooked up). - New 5Kohm output transformers (not ideal for 6V6 but you can put 8 ohm speakers on the 4ohm terminals- sounds best.) - Alloy feet Sturdy construction, and voltages are right.
I built this amplifier to keep but I have built others as well. Buyer will receive 1 stereo amplifier, w/ tubes, as shown. I've sold several handbuilt tube amplifiers to very satisfied buyers.
