For sale are a pair of Parallel Single Ended 300B monoblocks by Déjà Vu Audio. These monoblocks sound incredible with a wide and open soundstage and in the room dynamics. At 12 watts per channel these are powerful enough to pair well with a wide array of speakers and deliver the magical midrange that 300B are famous for, as well as deep and rich bass. Extremely quiet at idle these can be a good match for hi efficiency speakers as well. The massive potted transformers framing the output tubes give these a classic Acrosound-like look, and the figured maple veneers make these amps really stand out. They are gorgeous! These come equipped with a premium tube set including low hour Sophia blue glass “Classic” 300B grade A tubes ($1000 per pair) and a brand new quad of Russian made “Tung Sol” 6SN7. These amps have the largest oil caps I’ve ever seen underneath. Synergy red fuses as well. Originally $8000 these monos are a bargain at the asking price with this tube set. I have thoroughly enjoyed these amps, and if they were a smaller footprint I would be keeping them to pair with a Quad ESL 57, but they are simply too large for my space. http://www.glowinthedarkaudio.com/dejavu-300b-monos.html Rated 7 for the somewhat rougher DIY nature of this build, and a few scratches on the transformer covers (see the pics), but they are very clean and function perfectly. These ship in two packages, each 22x16x16 and 45 pounds. Local pickup in the Washington DC area is also available. As always, thanks for looking and questions welcomed.
