For sale is a Don Garber Fi “Super X” 45 / 2A3 SET amplifier.This is the upgraded X amplifier with all Magnequest transformers. Direct coupled, this beautiful work of audio art will run your choice of 45 or 2A3 tubes simply by changing the rectifier. The amplifier comes supplied with a complete tube set for both 45 and 2A3: a pair of Shuguang 2A3C, a pair of 1940’s RCA 45, RCA 6SF5 input tubes, a Philips 5Y3 (for use with either the 45 or 2A3) and an RCA 5V4 (for use only with 2A3). Generic power cord. Cosmetically this is unmarked and undamaged and functions as new. This is a superb amplifier in every respect. Original double-boxed packaging and printed documentation from Don Garber is also included.
