wonderful sounding little fisher tube amp. was in an old local audiophiles storage for years and years. i bought it and had it brought back up by Mike Zuccaro the audio craftsman in San Diego. he’s an authorized McIntosh service provider, highly competent and high integrity as well. it sounds fantastic and superior to the well reviewed Creek Destiny 1 i have, but i have two little boys and tubes are just not practical for me. they don’t touch the stereo and there have been no issues, but vintage tube amps like this are just too much of a risk, so it is sitting unused and i need the funds. it had the little resistor installed to reduce the current draw that would normally go to the preamp, so it’s ready to go. it does not have a power switch.
