Up for sale is Mark Levinson's Red Rose Music Model 5 Integrated Tube Amplifier.Amp is in immaculate working and cosmetic condition and comes with original double boxes. I would rate it 9.5 (I have not rated 10 just because of the age). I also have a matching pair of red rose ribbon speakers. I'm asking $300 for them (I have attached a picture but they are not included in this sale). Amp has been well-cared and used very sparingly- 300 hours of total use at the most. I am the second owner. I can provide additional pictures upon request. I compared this amp to VAC avatar SE and it beats VAC in every single area...hands down. Model 5 produces relaxed and smooth sound. It is not as bright and forward as the VAC. Highs are smooth, instrument separation is clear, bass is tight (VAC has little stronger bass, but sounds little muddy in comparison), & voices don't sound like they are yelling at you. The common / ground / float feature is also really cool. It completely eliminates noise / hum from the sources (if any). This amplifier has been widely reviewed by audiophiles as one of the finest ever made.
