Priced for quick sale $2200Otomon Labs SET 300b stereo amplifier for sale. Handcrafted single ended triode by Ken Uesugi in Japan. Uesugi San is one half of Uesugi Brothers and widely considered to be one of the Japanese Masters of the Audio Arts. This amplifier is no exception. It sounds gorgeous and operates as intended, putting out 10 watts per channel into 8ohms. No issues, plug and play, solid, well built amplifier using highly sought after vintage parts. The highlights being the Hiraga Tango output transformers, Tango ISO power supply transformer, and Western Electric chokes used in the overbuilt, dual mono tube rectified power supply. All expertly wired up with vintage Western Electric tinned copper wire. The Tango ISO power supply transformer is spec’d for 100-105v operation. This is a 100-105v unit, so a Variac or voltage step down transformer is required!
Tubes you see in the photos are included in the sale and are all good strong testing tubes. Tube compliment as follows Psvane Classic T 300b pair for output, JJ EL34 for driver, small input tubes are the excellent white label GE 5-Star 5670(black plate/3 mica), the large Sylvania ST 5z3 JAN rectifier is flanked by a grey glass RCA 42and black glass TungSol 42 rectifiers. I’m including an extra matching JAN 5Z3 ST bottle rectifier for backup. You can also use other rectifiers in this power supply, including 42, 5Z3, 5Y3 and 247b rectifiers. Power cable and interconnect cable not included. I’ll include the 6ft pair of Belden 9497 speaker cables. Local pickup with cash in Knoxville, Tennessee is welcome.
