For sale here are a pair of TAD-1000 mono blocks. These amps are built like tanks and have the option of 100W ultralinear or 60W triode at the flip of a switch, and also have a variable feedback adjustment to suit your personal taste. Class-A Single Ended design at low levels automatically transitions after 10 W to Class-A/B push-pull for 100 watts of solid power and the input has a gain control to allow matching to any preamp. Tubes included are 2 quads of EH6CA7 EH, 2 x 7025/12AX7 WA Sovtek input tubes and 4 x 6N6C Russian NOS driver tubes. Also for sale separately are 2 quads of Mullard KT 88’s reissue which I preferred over the Genalex Gold Lions. In all honesty I was back and forth on the EL34’s vs KT88’s. They both sound great with each their sonic impressions. PLEASE note the fireplace in the picture is gas so no exposure ashes/dust. Also these are not self-biased but I will provide documentation on that. The reason for selling is wanting to try some solid state gear. In other words Tinkertitis.
