These are Mark II amps - not an upgraded MK II. They are a factory MK II edition with the MK II spun-metal chassis whose round shape yields a no-flex rigidity that helps cancel external vibrations. Rated 9 for age only.

Their gorgeous, almost SET-like harmonic richness, that just makes it hard to stop listening. Dynamics, soundstage, imaging are extraordinary. Only their performance transcends its appearance. They are definitely eye candy. Photos can not capture the elegance of their chrome nor how visually stunning they are with their tubes glowing and the etched glass bottom blue lite. The high polished chrome acts like a mirror multiplying the effect. Thor Audio is still in business at highendaudiodotcom. They even offer upgrades to these already stellar performers. The existing tubes have PLENTY of life left as these amps were very lightly used. These are extra special because I had custom glass plates made to add to the enjoyment of listening to these amps. You can see I had a pair of "curtains with scroll-work design" plates made and I also had a "Picasso" plate and a "music trio with dancers" plate made as well - six glass plates in all including the pair of "Thor" plates. Reason for sale: I need to simplify my setup and put everything into one rack. I used these to biamp my speakers so they performed very light duty. IMPORTANT:
