Original owner of Adcom GCD-575, modified by my twin brother (Pars on this forum), to include the following:Discrete common base I/V stage designed by Colin Toole with very low input impedance, very desirable for best linearity. Each I/V board has a shunt-regulated power supply on it fed by the player's raw +/- 15V supplies, with the I/V boards running at +/-15Vdc. Fully DC-coupled, with DC servo in a unique arrangement (not fed back to the input but to a bias stage). This CD player uses a TDA1541a DAC. This is a very stable and good sounding unit. Selling due to moving to another continent for a year - cannot take anything with me! Offers will be considered seriously.
