This is the highly-regarded Shanling ET3 Transport. It was new and only in my system for less than an hour. That's why it's rated a 10. Bought in Jan. 2025 to avoid the tariff increase but it still included taxes. Now they go for $700-800. The sound is clear throughout the audio spectrum and has much to recommend it. It was put up against a Mac transport in the $5k range. No surprise, it didn't best the Mac but it compared surprisingly well, certainly not an embarrassment. It just doesn't fit with the rest of my system, much to my disappointment. It's quite a versatile piece of gear. The link to the Shanling website is below. It has I2S output.
