For sale is an updated Adcom GDA-700 Dac that is fantastic! I believe the Dac was originally designed by Ultra Analog years ago and they were one of the few from back in the day that had fantastic measurements along with great sound.

This DAC uses a Ultra Analog AES-21 low jitter receiver, and 2 PCM1702 R2R chips for D to A conversion.

Externally, this DAC has some scratches on the lid (see pics). However, it works perfectly.

Internally, the DAC was upgraded by replacing the old XLR connectors and optical input with better components.

Also, all the capacitors were replaced with a mix of ELNA, Nichicon, and Panasonic. The voltage regulators have also all been replaced with brand new ones along with new thermal paste. These upgrades have been performed with the intention of maintaining the original sound signature. This is one of the most analog dacs that I've heard so maintaining to manufacturer's sound signature was job one!.

Internally and externally the DAC has been cleaned of any dust and debris.
