Up for sale is a Micromega Microdac. This is a one bit, 256K oversampling dac. It was a dealer display model that I purchased in the mid 1990's and has functioned flawlessly ever since. The only reason I am selling it is I have upgraded to the new Micromega Mydac.
The unit measures 8 1/2" wide by 6" deep by 2 1/4" high. It has inputs for both coaxial and toslink cables and will automatically select whichever input is activated first. I will include the power cord that I have always used with it. Digital cables are not included.
Although this is a "vintage" unit, it can perform quite well, if used with a decent transport and warm sounding cables.
I am rating it a 5, because it does have some small scratches on its lucite top and because of its age. However, I will guarantee that it is not doa.
