For sale,my Z-Systems RDP-1 (reference digital preamp).Unit accepts a digital signal,strips off the clock and rewrites the digital word to 40 bits.This allows changes to be incorporated (via the EQ/volume) without damaging the original signal.The choice is available to output 16/20/24 bit words,depending on the DAC input chip.Inputs:AES/EBU(3),S/PDFI(2) and optical (1).Outputs (1 each) optical/S/PDIF and AES/EBU.
The unit allows one to adjust frequency,Gain and Q ivia a memeorized preset.These adjustment can be put into memory over 4 different segments of the frequency response.A High and Low are also available that act similarly to a tone control with variable turnover frequency selectable by the user.
The digital volume control allows channel balance adjustments and to use the DAC to drive your main power amplifier.
All functions controlled on the front face or using the heavy metal remote.
