These James Audio JS-6228HS power output transformers are recommended for push-pull amplifiers built for tubes types that can run at 8K. Some of the many tube types that would work well with this versatile transformer include 6BQ5/EL84 and 6V6. 4k can be also achieved by connecting 8 ohm speakers to the 16 ohm taps or 4 ohm speakers to the 8 ohm taps. This creates even more tube type options, including 2A3 and 300B.
