The McIntosh MA-6100 is a beast of an integrated amp with 70 watts per channel. This one has been completely restored by the only factory authorized tech outside of Mac in NY on this continent. It has new glass and the walnut case with slant legs. The unit is in pristine condition with no pitting on the chrome, the walnut case has been refinished and looks terrific. If you research the 6100 it is much maligned, the reason for that is that originally they used electrolyte caps that don't sound very good, this one has much better caps that Mac authorizes and it is under most of the 90 day warranty still. It sounds terrific. The two plastic bags show the actual old parts that were replaced... and there is a lot of them!
I have the matching MR-77 tuner for sale, it has been factory aligned has new glass & has the walnut case with slant legs, it is also in pristine condition. Buy them both and get a custom 11 ga cable that was made for the amp with cryo treated wire and pure copper pegs on one end to fit in the connectors.
Note: because these Mac's have glass faceplates I prefer a local sale. If you want it shipped it will be double boxed and it will be expensive.
