Up for sale is one of the best bang for the buck integrated amplifiers--the amazing Rega Mira 3. This is a current product in the Rega line up.This is in MINT/LIKE NEW condition without any scratches or dents. The operational condition is 100%. It comes from a clean smoke free, pet free house. This is a Stereophile class "b" integrated amplifier (high praise for such as inexpensive product). I would describe its sound as involving with plenty of rhythm and drive. It has the glorious toe tapping quality that Rega is famous for. Just the right amount of warmth, it draws you into the music. It is one of those components that allows you to just enjoy your music without the need to keep analyzing it. I compared it to some of the other mid priced integrateds that I have recently owned such as Arcam A 32, Creek 5350 SE & Cambridge Audio 840. All these were excellent performers in their own right but in the end I kept the Rega because it just sounded more right to me.
It drove a variety of speakers--even a pair of 86 dB 4 ohm speakers that I have--effortlessly without breaking a sweat. It is amazing that at this price you get so many extras such as an excellent MM or high output MC phonostage (almost the equal of my dedicated $1000 phonostage).
You even get a Pre-out & Power amp in connections. All this flexibility and options packed in this compact package for such a reasonable price! I am selling this as I am dismantling my second system.
