This is a spectacular unit. The clarity, dynamics, and soundstage are phenomenal. This is not only an attempt by Yamaha to breach the audiophile market, it is a success. I have only had this for about three weeks and I am selling to get the A-S2000. I will have to check but I believe the 5 year warranty is transferrable.
