I've enjoyed this integrated amp for a year or so as second owner.

Physical condition disclosure: It's in very nice shape- no scratches on the face. The case is in very nice shape as well- there may be one or two very small marks in the paint on the side that are barely visible. The only real blemish is a slight imperfection on the upper left top edge of the face plate- appears to be a very, very slight blunting of the edge (see image). It never bothered me and is as it came to me. Knobs and push buttons are clean. It's easily an 8/10 but to be conservative I am rating it as a 7/10.

Sound: the amplifier has a smooth sweet midrange and a nice soundstage. It's tubes and you can tell. You can read a review by Art Dudley (http://archive.anthemav.com/oldsitev1/review/int-1.html) that pretty well sums it up. A great way to get into tubes with high quality construction and parts. It comes with essentially two sets of original tubes- those which came with it (including white gloves), and includes a second set of 8 Sovtek driver tubes (EL84s) and a complete new set of tubes I installed including Sylvania 5814s, a nice Sylvania vintage 12AT7WA from 1959, and a matched octet of Russian 6P14P-EV as drivers. I have a second matched octet of the same tubes I am willing to sell for an additional price. I also installed a $50 HiFi Tuning fuse. In the interest of full disclosure the amplifier worked fine for me but every once in awhile it may make a popping or rushing sound on startup which immediately goes away as it warms up or you tap on the case. I was told by the designer that this is not abnormal. I also have the original manual and brochure. Finally, this unit does not have the phono preamp installed and this amp is very upgradable!

I'm asking $475 for the amplifier which includes all the tubes as described above. The matched octet of Russian tubes cost $105 alone. If you are interested in a second set of Russian EL84 tubes let me know. The buyer will pay shipping. I don't have the original box any longer but will pack it well and double box. The amplifier weighs about 35 lbs. so if you are within a reasonable radius of the Hampton Roads VA area I'm sure a local pickup can be arranged. I don't mind driving a few hours. Please no low-ballers!

Please see the pictures and I will be glad to answer any questions. My Feedback can be seen on ebay or Audiogon.
