Very rare Rogue Tempest III Super Magnum in attractive silver finish. There are very few Tempest IIIs out there with the Super Magnum upgrade (see Rogue website for details of $695 Super Magnum upgrade). This amp was bought as a Tempest II, then factory upgraded to Tempest III Super Magnum. The Tempest III is the latest model Tempest with a headphone jack and a 10 db signal boost (gain) which sounds much better than the passive preamp section of most integrated amps, especially useful for late night listening sessions if you opt not to use headphones. The Tempest III offers 90 wpc ultralinear and 35 wpc in triode. It is like having two amps in one and it allows you to pick the best option for your speakers. Good supply of fuses for tube biasing circuits This is the best amplifier I have ever had. It has all the midrange palpability and textures of a great tube amp with the dynamic bass grip of a solid state amp. The amp is very feature rich as well.
