For Sale: Mogami's recent entry into high-end audio interconnect cables has been a very good one, the online audiophile community has been praising this new Japanese Mogami 2497 Hi-Fi cable. Using Mogami's very high purity Neglex copper (similar to OCC copper) in a coaxial type geometry gives this cable a very smooth, and musical sound quality.
The Mogami 2597 cables are approx. 3 feet in length (actually 37.5") and are terminated with the very fine American-made Switchcraft 3502AAU gold plated long-barrel RCA plugs. These thin-wall, minimal contact material plugs are the key to the fine sound of these cables, audiophile connector people such as KLE, WBT Nextgen, Eichmann, and the recent MS Star all have realized that the heavy bodied, machined, and multi-plated "audiophile" plugs add significant problems to the signal. The fine 3502AAU Switchcraft plugs provide a very nice fit, and afford a very clean signal transfer by keeping jack wall thickness minimal. Very nice sounding state of the art cabling from Mogami.
