For sale is a Berkeley Audio Design Alpha series one dac with silver faceplate. In perfect physical and functional condition.I’m a DSD guy and this is the only PCM dac that makes me sit up and pay attention. The best PCM dac that I have heard. Only reason for the sale is that I recently got a Berkeley Reference Series Dac and to be honest, after comparing the two I thought about selling the reference series dac as I didn’t really hear noticeable differences between the two, if anything this Alpha dac sounded a tiny bit more resolved. But since I have it will keep experimenting with the Reference series dac as I let this one go. Rest assured that this is as great sounding dac and as good as PCM gets to my ears, it sounds resolved, dynamic, with wide & deep presentation. A great dac from the people that designed the Pacific Microsonics Model Two HDCD studio reference dac & professor and Spectral Audio dac. Original manual and remote control included.
