This is a 'put together' XV-15/1200E. The body is a used/excellent XV-15/625E which is the same as the 750E and 1200E internally, just painted a dull gold instead of having the bright gold metal covering. The stylus is a NOS D1200E moving iron with no play time on it. It comes in a Pickering metal case with XV-15/750E markings on the inside. The XV-15/1200E was top of Pickerings line until the advent of the XSV mm series and is still a great MI cartridge. Tip is a 0.2 X 0.7 mil elliptical with a tracking range of 0.5g-1.25g, depending on arm. Cartridge weight is 5.5g. Response from 10Hz to 30kHz. Seperation >35dB at 1kHz. Output 4.4mV. Very smooth, extended carts. with excellent bass and great tracking. Price includes posting. PP add 3% of total. Will take postal money order also. Rating 8/10 simply because body and case are used; the stylus is unused.
