Rare Audio Interface CST-80H 40Z moving coil transformer. Great match for the re-bodied Denon 103 I was running. This transformer has an internal impedance of 40 ohms. It is designed to feed a standard MM phono stage with 47K impedance. The overall gain of the transformer is 20db, making it suitable for use with MC cartridges with ~0.2mv output.This unit is in great condition with only a few minor imperfections, see pictures for condition. It sounds superb, one of the best out there. There is a lot of great information online including a strong endorsement from Arthur Salvatore. This is a Dean Jensen designed American made transformer comparable to a M.A.Cotter with potted transformers - and you can use your own interconnects unlike the Cotter. Highly regarded and a better than Cinemag based transformers to my understanding. Thanks for looking.
