Standard Audio Research chassis appearance. Typical ARC screen top and bottom. Captive cord (20 ft cord)
Nice phono box. I have owned it for years now. and just do not need it.
Original owner's manual, and bag of original replacement capacitors for values changing. (solder internally)
One input pair XLR. one output pair XLR.
Front/face in black really good condition.
This particular ARC item never did get many reviews..
And is rather rare.
My suggestion is only buy it is you have great power conditioning.
It really is a superior unit when connected to good conditioning.
With NO conditioning is is good but not spectacular.
All in all I am only marginally interested in selling..
If you are dying to have a good PH-2. here it is. If not, then I'll just keep it another ten years.. And yes i am asking a lot for it. If you actually want it, the price is cool.
If this would be your first phono preamp, skip it, it is NOT for you...
Unless you love ARC.
