Very good condition PH3, black, modded by Parts Connexion. I purchased this from the original owner in 2006, and have not used it much since I switched to an SP10 as a phono stage, due to the SP10s loading options and 2 phono inputs.I just tested it, and it sounds great. I have the bill from Parts Connexion - they charged $950 for the mods! I think the final price for the PH3 was $1995, Making this a $3k phono preamp. In comparision, ARC's upgraded version, the PH3SE, used to go for $2600. Looking at this unit, I spot Blackgates, Auricaps, Dynamicaps, upgraded diodes, tube sockets - all superior to the parts in the PH3SE. I'm sure there are other mods I can't spot. I had purchased 2 sets of 'Platinum' graded phono quality 6922s from Upscale Audio in 2007. 3 of them are still unused and brand new, and these will be included with the unit. Also has the manual, and the solder/resistor kit. Please be prepared to pay immediately with paypal. I will only ship Fedex, insured.
