The OBH-8SE was designed by Alex Nikitin ,the maker of the Kora phonostage. The OBH-8SE is a fully discrete FET based phono stage -no op amps and represents a significant upgrade from the OBH-8 using an advanced circuit topology. Comes with the oversized OBH-2 fully regulated power supply which is designed to be placed at a considerable distance from the phonostage to minimize hum and noise.
