Two sold, one left!Hello, I have built and sold four of these now on Audiogon. They sound wonderful. Very open, smooth and detailed. I upgraded the op-amp with the same exact model that the Grado PH1 uses. I had borrowed a Grado from a friend and discovered this little sweet op-amp. The Grado is very warm and the highs are very rolled off. My preamp has all the magic of the Grado but with better dynamics and extended highs. It sounds rich and "Exciting" but never bright. The power supply is a professional 24 VDC one that is extremely quiet. The preamp itself is dead quiet. The power capacitors on the board have been upgraded to Nichicon extremely low impedance ones along with the output coupling caps that are the Nichicon ES bipolar series (the green ones) that sound very open with just a touch of warmth. There are several adjustments on the board for capacitor and resistor loading and gain. The lid will have a list of all the adjustments and the values on a label underneath. All the feedback I have received from people I have sold these to is always “Wow, this little thing really sounds good!” If you don’t agree, I’ll take it back within 30 days. Just pay return shipping. I have three of these boxed up and ready to ship. Shipping is free for USPS Priority Mail within the cont. USA. Ed Padden
