For sale is a Herron VTPH2 phono preamp. Includes 3 sets of loading plugs (100 ohms, 1000ohms and 47kohms) and an extra pair of cryoed 12AX7 tubes. Includes manual, original box, and packing materials. It's in perfect cosmetic and operating condition. Don't let the low price fool you, this is a near reference phono preamplifier that competes with many much more expensive units. That is why very few come up for sale on the used market. This unit came pretty close to unseating my 3x as expensive Allnic 3000H and probably would have if it had more gain (I need lots of gain). My 2nd favorite of all the phono preamps I've had the good fortune to audition this past year (Allnic H3000, Allnic H1201, Plinius M14, Ayre P5xe, Electron Images, Ayon Polaris III (full function preamp), Tron Convergence, Herron VTPH1-MC, and a few others I can't recall right now. I will cover half of shipping to the continental US and Paypal fees if my asking price is met. Buy from a member with a long history of impeccable feedback.
