For sale is a Tron Convergence phono stage. The unit is for MC only and has 68 db of gain. The unit is like new both cosmetically and functionally.Tron Electric is not well known in the United States but is very highly regarded in the UK and Europe. This phono stage is exceptionally well built at this price point, as can be seen in the pictures. I don't think you can get anything better in the $1,000 range. It easily competed with some of the much more expensive phono stages that I auditioned the last 3 months. It does not quite have the resolution or detail in the frequency extremes of the more expensive phono stages, but it is close and has a musicality to it that makes me want to listen all day. The soundstage is wide and very deep and instruments have a realistic air around them. The Convergence comes in a very nice flight case and includes a power cord and a torx screwdriver used to remove the top screws.
