For sale is a clean and great sounding Belles Research Preamplifier. I also have the matching Belles 250 Power Amp for sale in another ad. This is the XLM model, and a truly great sounding pre. The XLM has an outboard power supply that is tethered on the power cord. It also offers a really nice sounding, clan and open MM phono stage as well. I would say it is clean, detailed, and on the slightly warm side. Internally, it's littered with expensive caps, resistors and parts build. I had new Noble Pot professionally installed. The original was stepped far too close. This now has a 100k ohm and is a smooth rolling pot. I fabricated newer maple wood sides, and have the original, darker wood ends if you wish. I would rate this a 7 out of 10 for age only. It sounds spectacular. I will package and ship robustly for safe transit.
